It covers the constituent elements of soil, its physical, chemical, and biological properties in a detailed, structured, and well-analyzed manner. The various soil classifications and soil-vegetation relationships are also explained, while also highlighting the importance of soil and the causes and consequences of its loss.
To ensure that students gain clear and understandable concepts about this important element of nature, graphic and schematic illustrations have been carefully chosen to accompany the seemingly complicated explanations.
